MEN AUCTIONED IN MARRIAGES

Men are being auctioned and the highest bidder gets him as her groom - Daily across the nation men are being sold with different price tags according to their qualifications and their jobs. If it is an engineer or a doctor then price increases.. if he is settled abroad again the bid rises ... but not to worry each one has their own price.

When a MAN is sold, he is HONOURED but when a women is sold, she is ABUSED. We talk about prostitution where thousands of women are being sold, used and abused ...... But have you ever thought how by through dowry, men are being auctioned by their own parents for lakhs and lakhs of rupees during marriages.

Nothing comes for free is seriously being practiced by each household in India. Have you ever thought how many people are being affected by this one practice of taking dowry?

Some men boast about being bold, strong and having self-respect but when it comes to being sold ... shouldn't they be ashamed of it.... NOOOO... NEVER .... dowry is something which the father gives to his daughter as a gift ... That's the only justification they have ...

Have you ever thought the effects of this action?

Why .. Why should we think about it?? - is the only response.

When a girl is born, a father starts saving money for her marriage ... the fear of giving money leads to the evolution of  great social problems such as Illiteracy, Feticide, Infanticide, Sexual Harassment, Trafficking, Domestic Voilence etc. POPS UP!!!!!!!!

Just becoz of this one reason most of them do not want a girl to be born.

So girls don't worry, its the Men who wants to sell themselves. So only if they -

Wake up...., Stop taking dowry .... And realize the fact that we are humans not commodities... will this come to an end

Always remember,
THE ABILITY TO RESPOND IS RESPONSIBILITY

Please Note: The things wrote above is targeting the people who are indulged in such activities and not taking about all.

Breathless.. Disgusted.. Helpless ..

This is what a girl who travels in a crowded bus or train feels. Most of the public transport system is overcrowded due to which it becomes difficult to even move, this is when some of the men take advantage by just giving the lame excuse of - 'what can we do?'

Men with basic dignity knows how to maintain the required distance but the ones whose brains are located somewhere else are the ones whom girls have to tackle every day every minute every second. I feel sad in stating that most of the time its the elderly men who indulge in such activities which makes the girls helpless, since we are obsessed with the fact that elders are meant to be respected by the younger ones.

I travel daily through bus to my office but sometimes due to breakdowns or when they do not keep up the scheduled time that is when the evolution of crowded buses takes place. Many times they leave us at our stops without even thinking that it is the only way to reach our destination but it's not their fault too when the bus is crowded how can someone enter it and by chance we enter, the place turns out to be worse than hell.

Today while I was standing in the bus stop, the bus was late and eventually it had to be crowded. The first stage of helplessness is when you have to decide whether to enter the bus or not. If you enter then have to face whatever happens, if you don't enter then reach your destination late. So without thinking much  I entered the bus and now was the next stage of breathlessness. Standing in the bus surrounded with men, in which few waiting to take advantage and the disgusting feeling which a girl feels every time the private parts of some men touches you... this is the worst feeling any girl wishes to experience. I feel sad and disgusted when being molested from  head to toe which leaves me with a question in my mind that - ' why the hell am I a girl?'

In each bus, some seats are reserved for ladies but mostly we see that it is occupied by men. Even when someone is really in need such as elderly or a women with a child approaches them; some stay adamant is not giving up their seats.

After pushing and moving ahead from the whole crowd, I finally found some space to stand but the next thing that happens is people moving out for their stops again falling over or rubbing their private parts and moving. Sometimes it is possible that it was a mistake but not always can a women bear it. Again the same disgusting feeling surrounds.

And finally when all of a sudden someone gets up from their seat for their stop, the rush to catch hold the seat fills in...... So now feeling safe I take over my seat but wait its not over..... now comes the next trick of men, they come stand next to the seat and that is when my poor shoulder and hands become the target of molestation... Uff... the disgusted feeling again rushes into my mind. Sometimes have also encountered men who play with their private part; who physically do not harm you but visually kills you.

Its always funny to notice girls always wearing their backpacks without keeping it down or how they fight for a seat or just keep moving and adjust into the smallest space available... For what????

Its because we teach ourselves that there is no use complaining instead find the tricks/ways to stay safe. There is no use shouting coz the ones whose mind is corrupt will never hear you.

After months of experience in travelling in the buses, I have learned my ways to keep myself away from trouble but still there are times when you are trapped or come across new things that is when I again feel BREATHLESS..... DISGUSTED......HELPLESS....
